Topic Local Public Transport

As most cities in Germany, Karlsruhe has quite good access to public transport facilities. The closest tram station to the Karlshochshule is Karlstor. The student ID allows you to use public transportation after 6pm and on the Weekend and public holiday . For this you only need to remember to carry your matriculation certificate in printed form with you. If you register in the Registration Office (Einwohnermeldeamt), you will get a semester Ticket for free - which allows you to use public transportation at any time throughout the semester. (This is only valid for one semester. A ticket for the second semester needs to be paid.) More information can be found here: http://en.kvv.de/
