Topic Placement Test Chinese Classes

Before class starts, every student who takes Chinese classes in the Chinese department, must take a test to evaluate his or her Chinese level. Based on that test the students are put into their class. The test includes a part on computers, where you must write Pinyin and tones of different words. Based on that result, you get to talk to a teacher of the level, the test located you to. You talk to the teacher, read something and answer some questions in Chinese.

If you are not satisfied with the decision, you can change classes in the first week of classes. To go a level up, you need to do another test. If you want to move down you can do so by telling your teacher.
