The International office at Sodertorns University is very helpful and full of friendly people. However, there are few thing you need to know before getting help from them: Firstly, there is a division between accommodation and International Office and even though there are located in the same place they have different office hours. Secondly, the office hours are very short, so please check them before going to the University. You can check the office hours here. Therefore, it is better to contact international office by e-mail (they usually respond quite quickly - mostly the day after). If you have questions regarding university e-mail: exchange@sh.se If your question concerns student's accommodation e-mail instead: accommodation@sh.se. Officially, there is a division of responsibility between officers according to country of origin, but practical you can address anybody from there and HEN (sorry I couldn't spot myself from adding this Swedish gender-neutral pronoun) will try to help you. Thirdly, when finally coming there don't act to formal and don't expect people to. Don't be surprised when you will be welcomed Hi Martyna! How are you? (Of course with your own name not mine). It's all about Swedish equality. However, you won't probably be here very often, as the most common cases concerns arrival information and keys pick up, document signing and courses changes if necessary, but if you have any other pressing matter you don't know how to solve they will be more than willing to help. It's all from me. If you need to know more please do not hesitate to contact them!
