At the beginning of this module we argued that developing an understanding of cultural diversity and improving one’s capacity to deal with diversity and a multitude of cultural orientations in a constructive way is considered a key qualification in many business and private settings which supplements the expertise in specific fields. Now, after having explored the different facets of cultures, the possible challenges in intercultural communication and outlined approaches of negotiating culture and co-creation of meaning, it is time to reflect upon your learnings and the competencies you developed.
The aim of this session is thus to raise your awareness of the competencies you improved upon and reflect on how they are expressed in behaviour enabling you to pinpoint personal achievements and further study paths.
